Membruggen is a quiet village in the fruit region par excellence, Haspengouw, known for the beautiful colors of the many blossoms. The holiday apartment is located on the edge of the Molenbeemd nature reserve and connects to various walking and cycling routes that take you through this beautiful region. One of the most famous wineries in Belgium is located in the neighboring village of Genoels-Elderen. The land command of Alden Biesen in the neighboring village Rijkhoven is also worth a visit. Due to its central location, you are in no time in the surrounding cities such as Tongeren, where the largest antique market in Belgium takes place every Sunday. Maastricht, Liège and Aachen are also easily accessible.

The apartment is part of a very recently renovated typical square farmhouse and located on the first floor accessible via a staircase. The apartment is fully furnished with an equipped kitchen, TV, free wifi, coffee maker etc. There are 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room. For the bedrooms you can choose the arrangement with a double bed or 2 single beds. Moreover, there is a choice of mattresses. There are 2 harder and 2 softer box spring mattresses and bed linen is provided. There is also a sink and mirror in every room. The bathroom is equipped with a sink, shower, bubble bath and infrared cabin. Bath and kitchen towels are included. Every room is equipped with an air conditioner that heats and cools so that the temperature can be regulated individually in each room. Outside there is a private garden for guests with a bicycle shed.

Haspengouw is mainly known as a fruit region. In the spring it is the blossoms that appeal to you, at the end of the summer and in the fall the juicy fruit hangs on the trees. But there is much more every season. You walk through valuable brook valleys, past castles and monumental farmhouses, through farming villages and along numerous hidden green gems. On the plateaus you can enjoy a wide landscape, with the views sometimes reaching as far as Liège. Landscape, nature and culture come together here and kneaded a beautiful landscape.

Infrared sauna

Unlike the traditional "Finnish" sauna, the operation of an infrared sauna is based on the (invisible) infrared radiant heat generated by various types of radiators. The typical feature of infrared heat is that this heat is transferred to the skin without the use of warm air.
